Get ready for an exciting semester full of creativity.

We will be your teachers for the semester, here’s a little more about us:

Hi! My name is Hannah. I am an art education student currently studying at Colorado State University. I love working with elementary school students! My favorite art medium is painting, although I enjoy drawing, photography, lithography, and ceramics. I love art because I am able to see what I have created after I am done working on something. I studied abroad this summer in Italy with the CSU Art History program and it was the best experience of my life! It was my first time out of the country! I am an out of state student from Arkansas. I miss home a lot, but I have fallen in love with Colorado during these past few years at CSU. All of my family lives in Arkansas so I like to visit as often as possible. I have two younger sisters (Emma is 16 and Carolina is 14), two amazing and loving parents, two grey tabby cats, and one wild and crazy puppy named Sammy! In my free time I like to hang out with my family and friends, make art, listen to music, watch old movies, and do outdoor activities. I am so excited to be teaching about Imaginary Creatures this semester!! It is going to be so much fun!!

Hi my name is Chelsea E., or as the students know me Chelsea #2. I am an art education major at Colorado State University and I love it. I am really into drawing, it is one of my favorite mediums to work in. I also like to paint on glasswear. I am a book fanatic and loveeeee Harry Potter. I have one younger sister who is about to graduate from high school and join me up here at CSU. Family is one of the most inportant things in my life and I love them more than anythong in the world. I also have 2 dogs, an11 year old Chocolate Lab named Zoe, and a 2 year old black Pomeranian named Zeke, or Ezekial as I like to call him. 🙂 I love Fort Collins and I am very excited to see all the amazing imaginary animals everyone comes up with this semester.

Hi everyone! My name is Chelsea Parker, also known as Chelsea #1 by the students. I’m a student at Colorado State University and am also studying art education and am so happy and grateful to be in such an amazing program! My concentration is painting, however a few other mediums that I enjoy to explore are ceramics, printmaking, and sculpture. I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado  and moved to the beautiful city of Fort Collins in 2006. After making the decision to move to Harlem, New York in 2008 to study art, I quickly realized that Colorado is truly my home and moved back to Fort Collins in 2009 to continue my studies. When I’m not at school, I enjoy camping, snowboarding, dog sledding, and painting. I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to be working with such bright and talented students, and can’t wait to see what unique and creative creatures everyone makes!
